About this course
Unit 2 is the numerate half of the AS: raising money, spending it well, and reading the environment the business is spending it in.
Every calculation in the specification is drilled, from break-even and cash flow to budgets and ratios, then applied to a case study, because the paper never asks for the number on its own.
What you will be able to do
- Choose and justify a source of finance for a given business
- Build and interpret a cash-flow forecast and a break-even chart
- Assess an operational decision on cost, quality and capacity
- Explain how external change alters a business's options
